Quote from youme on February 20, 2008, 7:27 pmto be honest I'm hardly suprised, but I doubt I'm really suitable as I don't actually know too much and seem to find various other things drawing my time, and i'm always too slow to get the fisrt post in.

Congrats rellikpd
I've always thought that a motorbike would be loads more fun than a car. According to Enligh law I'm old enough to get a moped lisence but not old enough to drive a car (you have to be 17+) but I'm really not interested in driving right now, I want to move to the US within the next few years which makes me think I'm going to be learning to drive there rather than in my motherland... which makes me like this -

For reference: the furthest part of england from the coast is about 140 miles.

Quote from DelphiAegis on February 22, 2008, 2:41 amScrew miles. Everyone should measure in easily scalable measurements. I.E., Kelvin and Metric.
And don't feel bad about alaska; It's almost as big as the rest of the continental united states (If not in actual landmass, but in "wow that is spread out when you put one on top of another"). I blame mysoginistic mercator projections of the earth for giving us an improper view of places like greenland (Which is quite large), alaska, and even the old USSR.
