Authoring Tools Not Working

Well i tried the things you said and at least my Portal 2 works... I really hope Valve are gonna fix this soon

Mine doesn't work, I tried all the fixes. I'm patient I'll just keep doing challenge mode on portal 2 until this gets fixed

Thanks for letting us know about the bug. We've just rolled out an update that should fix the issue, so please restart your authoring tools and give it another go.

And now ent_fire, give_portalgun, etc. are now considered cheat commands by the engine. <sarcasm>Wonderful!</sarcasm>

Agreed. They ARE and always have been cheats.

And 'Tools Mode' has always been there. It was always broken, probably still is now. I haven't tested it.

The added cheats are clearly added protection of the challenge mode and should have always been considered cheats.

I noticed they got rid of the kill command to. I used it a lot as a joke and to spawn again when being disassembled. Boo!
