Can't play my maps... u-u

Page 1 of 2Next

So yeah...I started making maps (like everyone)...and well, all fine...except when I play my map,the game closes saying "Map with no planes".

I tried everything,and still can't play...

I'm sure someone will say the easiest answer ever...

Well...anyone can help me? <_>

Post your compile log.

Seriously,I don't know how to fix it... <->

I saw my map lots of times, and I can't see any hole...

This program is getting more difficult than I though... :l

http://developer.valvesoftware.com/wiki ... ding_leaks

That helped a bit...

I found a prop_physics out of the map...but the rest of the coord send me to the Void...to anywhere...

and I can't open "Load PointFile"...I don't know how. (I don't have the file) y-y

Each time you fix a leak you need to recompile the map to see if it leaks again. And yes, you absolutely have a pointfile. Whenever a map leaks, it creates one to fix this very problem. It should be in the same directory that you save your VMF at.

Re-read that article twice if you aren't understanding something. The problem is that your map has a leak, and that article tells you everything you need to know to fix it.

I don't have that damn pointfile...u.u

If this continues,I prefer to detele everything, and everyone happy... --"

Okay I read your compile log a little more. It looks like you are still using the Alien Swarm SDK. You should start using the official Portal 2 Map Authoring Tools, using the AS SDK is no longer necessary.
