Creating a PotatOS Voice
Quote from Rubrica on June 23, 2011, 1:29 pmHi! So, I'm Rubrica - those of you one the mapping list might already know me as the guy who always asks annoyingly simple questions. Well, that's what I'm here for; I was wondering how one might create a GLaDOS potato voice, with that tinny quality that can be heard in her potato dialogue. Any software required is fine, but preferably either something free or Melodyne (my school has it). This isn't urgent - I've got until the eighth of July to do this (if you're curious, well, sorry. I can't tell you anything, except that it's nothing any of you will ever see, and it's not a map.), and if I dont have an answer by then, I can always just do a regular GLaDOS voice, so take your time.
Have a nice day!

Quote from Vordwann on June 23, 2011, 8:17 pmI would use melodyne to make your voice into a normal GLaDOS voice, and then use something like (example) Garageband to add filters to the tracks you have altered and make them sound more tinny.
