Ps : if you have problems with reflection just type buildcubemaps in the dev console

Ps2 : here you go corrected the little trick that helped skip the first part : )

Ps3 : again corrected the other trick ( sorry if its just quick fix but i dont have the time with all the work i have to do for the end of the session )

Nice first map; I just found a way to beat the whole first part in 30 seconds. I don't think this is intended:

I figured out this trick when I was actually trying to solve the puzzle; so you should add a bit more pointers where you should be going imo. You can also see in this video the doors are kind of slow.

But still a pretty good first map imo.

This was an interesting map. It wasn't really puzzling however, as most of the time I spent playing it was trying to figure out what that button just did, or where I was. Good job anyway. (Better than me.)

Wow, thanks a lot for the video showing me the trick lol. I have never though about trying that, i will rework this part for my portfolio thanks again : )

I hate to say this, but I didn't really like this map. The puzzles were solid, but everything else left something to be desired.

I can tell you were trying to stick to the original style of portal. However, random bts pipes on the ceiling and mistextured walls and such really lost it for me. Your puzzles were unclear as to what was needed, and the odd texturing threw me off in a few places.

You were missing several important things such as portal bumpers, and your signage was again unclear.

I suggest that you study the original portal levels very closely, and make sure to take a look at the example chamber included in the SDK. That should help straighten out the visual aspect.

Hear the turret, for it is knell. It summons thee to heaven, or to hell.

lol its ok :). Like i said its not only my first portal map it was also my first real hammer work.Now im currently finishing a HL2 mod for school with fellow students and i can say that redoing another map in portal its gonna be a lot more nicely done now that i have l lot ( and i mean a lot) of hours in hammer. Thaks for you comments thats what gonna make me better : )

PS: thanks for the portal bumpers info i didnt even know that existed, lol now i know : )
