Dooleus Portal HL2 Combat map!

Hey all, I've been working on this Portal map based on around non-linear combat with HL2 zombies and metrocops

the cops chase you with stun sticks, the turrets shoot the zombies, and everything comes after YOU! :D

There's several different weapons scattered about. Have fun!

Does the map also include puzzles?
And are the combat taking place while the player is solving puzzles?
Because that usally frustrates me, having to think while shooting :p
Looks good, but make the light in the screenshot less bright.
Is this a release map? add [RELEASE] in front of the thread name.
And for some reason some people here wants you to upload it to the TWP database. Tbh, i don't care.
If i can remember it, i'll try out this map as soon as i get time.

I don't want to make any prejudgings but it looks like a map that you make for yourself and that it's not supposed to see the light of the world. There are already so many such maps out there...

I was going for the washed out look on purpose, kind of a stylistic choice. I'm still tweaking and updating this map, I've made some small changes to the lighting and fixed some stuff.

I released it on the interwebs because I think it's a fun map to play and I would like to generate more interest in action-style portal maps. The portal gun is an excellent addition to the HL2 arsenal and makes for some pretty wild gameplay moments.

there aren't any "puzzles" in the strictest sense. you have to put cubes on buttons to open the doors, one of which is in an underwater maze which is easy to drown in if you don't know your way. It's also now populated with zombies and metrocops. (the antlions just drown in it)

it's not the most detailed map ever, but I try to make maps that won't lag on my computer (9600gt) and have lots of replay value. i also went for my own visual style instead of the standard portal style i see so much of.

the lighting looks pretty bad and combat in a portal environment is NEVER a good idea. it just dont work.

and the idea is different
