When I was growing up, I had a pet rabbit named sugar. He was my best friend. He would silently listen as I told him all the secrets of my heart. I would sit for hours with sugar and tell him how I was feeling.

You know, this reminds me of my mom. she used to raise hell at me for wearing my socks all the time. After a certain age, I realized I could wear my socks when I damn well pleased. My dad used to wear his to bed.

I wear a black sock on my right foot and a gray one on my left.

My socks have holes in them

When I was in college, my big toe on my right foot was smashed-in by a large metal door and required two surgeries (may need a third). The black sock represents the "death" of my toe. The gray sock represents the color gray.
