Energy ball issues
Quote from hanging_rope on July 17, 2010, 10:39 pmI feel like a hammer noob again.
I have a problem with an energy ball launcher, which is that the ball is going in the wrong direction. I have no idea what is causing this. the pitch yaw roll is set in the correct direction, the point_energy_ball_launcher is not touching anything (It is not even in a dynamic model), but yet it goes at an obscure diagonal angle. Does anyone know what My problem would be?Edit: My map does not have leaks, either.

Quote from JohnBigOz on August 28, 2010, 5:52 pmI am not sure if this might be helpful.... but if there is an entity (or block) that spawns launcher (i only managed to make little bit of map in Hammer) try to rotate it 180 degrees so it faces the way you want, i had a similair problem when i set up the "Starting bed" effect, in which the camera went the oppsoite direction than what it was suppose to be, and i realised that the entity (or block) was placed and should've been rotated.
