I know you're trying to [spoiler]make her voice sound broken, but you can create this impression with just a few glitched-out words while still keeping most of the speech intelligible. I would suggest you re-do the effect so that maybe 1 word in 6 gets dropped or covered by static/feedback.[/spoiler]
