Felix's Hammer Notepad

Quote from FelixGriffin on August 31, 2013, 8:32 pmI did use the standard Gel 1 for this, since it's an easy way to make the effects and I wanted to see how quickly I could build this. If I'm using the Adhesion Grid idea I can replicate the effect with a custom gel later.
Gel 1 has strange properties: it looks like Conversion Gel on the ground, and Propulsion Gel on the player's face. To "fix" that problem I just used a console command to turn Conversion Gel and Propulsion Gel purple for the map, but there's no way to switch back and forth within a single BSP map.
I now have it working on all but one of the possible directions, and I hope to have a full prototype by the end of the night.

I thik you should do this if you release it after finishing the Code, to seperate it from reflectiongel, and make the use of Conversion and speedgel enable
just for the Beta its ok, if this is easy to experiment with it^^Awesome, work, hope you'll finish it soon.

That'll be a Hammer Notepad someday.

Quote from CamBen on September 1, 2013, 12:05 pmThere are paint can models from hl2 that I have, I was thinking they could be used as ammo pickups for the paint gun, or used to recreate the aperture investment opportunities in portal 2.

That poster makes sense BTW.

I'm trying to build my own model in Blender but it's slow going.
