Hammer App?
Quote from QuantumNarwhal on July 5, 2014, 3:05 pmI was looking on the app store for some sort of Hammer guide but I couldn't find one. I'm thinking of making one, but not only do I have no idea how to make an app, I'd also need people to help me write the guide. So I'm just looking for people with skills in making apps and someone that could help me write a Portal 2 Mapping guide.

Quote from Konke on July 7, 2014, 5:55 amI like the idea. You could also, in excess of your guides, implement a link to the developer community guides.

Quote from kyleprotecX on July 24, 2014, 6:39 amUnfortunately there is no app for the Hammer World Editor. It would be amazing if someone could create one but it would take weeks, weeks and weeks. Good idea!

Quote from Goldenknighttim on July 24, 2014, 10:49 amHammer with the small touch screen is pretty hard to use. It's nice to be able to use it on the go, but navigating around a 3d area without a mouse takes a lot of concentration, especially if your somewhere bumpy, like on a train. If someone were to make a hammer app, it would need it's own UI. If you want portability in hammer, but you don't mind it being difficult to use, I would suggest getting a surface pro.

Quote from boctroy on July 24, 2014, 1:02 pmYou could use http://appinventor.mit.edu/explore/front.html for creating your app. Not alot of programing required.
@Goldenknighttim I think he wants to create an app for guides for Hammer, not the Hammer Application itself.
