I think I broke the portals
when you place a blue and orange portal in the exact same spot it makes a mirror!

What happens when you go through both portals in the same place? You just end up facing the opposite direction when you walk out or does it crash the game?

I'm guessing it's two prop_portals, since you can place them literally anywhere, even in mid-air.
putting a prop_portal in a bad spot can make really wierd things happen.
Last night I was setting up some prop_portals and I was getting stuck in wierd loops, popping between two portals, and two of my func_brushes disappears after going through this one portal.
Actually, no prop_portals are needed. Press ~ to open the console and type sv_cheats 1, hit enter, and type sv_portal_placement_never_fail 1, and enter again.
Now shoot two portals. Go part way into one, but not so far that it makes the "whoosh" sound you hear when you normally go through a portal (in other words, you should not be able to shoot a portal out the other side). Now, fire the portal that is not the one you are part way into - if you went slightly into blue, fire orange, etc. Instant mirror. Have fun!

I managed to do this without cheating, I put it on a ledge that was too thin, and I could see myself. When you walk through it does kinda spaz out.

I did it when I first played Portal, cause I suck so bad, I cheated and accidentally did this.
When you walk through the portal, you just come back out where you enter.
No suprise, it's nothing that's going to make you turn inside out.
