info_overlay indicator strips
Quote from ub3r sold4t on May 23, 2008, 7:52 pmhi guys. Having a little trouble with the indicator strips. May just be trouble with the overlays themselves. I don't really know.
I place the overlays then choose the material and the brush faces and a few different things seem to happen: Sometimes it'll apply the texture but be stretched funny. Sometimes it wont apply it at all no matter where i put the overlay. Sometimes I just need to move it around to get it to appear. and they always seem to be too wide or distorted, and I can't seem to get them looking right. Any ideas (or solutions if this has already been asked)? Thanks.

Quote from Doomsday192 on May 23, 2008, 7:59 pmmake sure texture lock is off when you strech them out, because with it on it changes the size of the overlay instead of just tiling it

HA HA! wow.. way to go! I can't believe I did that.
Suppose thats what I get for not having used hammer in over a year and a half. thanks a lot man. Made me feel like a moron but I guess I deserved it. Guess I'll get back to mapping then.
