Mapping portal2 with 3DS Max?

Hi guys,
I've only recently figured out how to use the Wall Worm modelling tools plugin for MAX to export VMF's for HL2 and CSS, but does anyone know if you can use it with Portal too? I currently don't have Portal 2 because th HDD my laptop died and my PC doesn't have wi-fi, so I cant test it myself, but I am getting it next week so in the mean time I'm trying to find out as much as I can about mapping Portal. I have a couple of years experience with MAX, but Hammer is backwards compared to MAX so I've kind of stayed away from it until now. So far I have managed to make plenty of CS:S maps with custom textures without ever having to Hammer, so hopefully Portal 2 should be the same.

Any help regarding Wall Worm and 3DS Max would be greatly appreciated

VMFs in Portal 2 are pretty much the same as in previous games (except for instances), so the same tools should work.

You'll probably need to use Hammer a fair bit anyway, since Portal maps need a lot more entity I/O to get the various test elements working correctly compared to other Source games. Instances would be pretty useful for that, since they let you basically import another map into your own. It'a useful for things like entry/exit elevators or cubedroppers because those have lots of logic to get them working properly.
