my achievements got reset 🙁
how do i geet them back? and why did they do that?
It's impossible for them to reset...they are stored on the Steam servers, not your computer (otherwise it would be super to easy to replace a file and "get" them all). You probably just aren't connected to the internet while playing so it can't retrieve them.

i thrud it was stored on your computer in a file so i looked all around in my portal folders to find it to give me the achievements i had

Why do you have to complete the Camera Shy achievement in one playthrough? And why is the counter reset if you switch to an Advanced Chamber halfway through a game?

Time out for a second. That wasn't supposed to happen.
I am pretty sure the game thinks you are trying to cheat by switching the maps, and therefore resets your "camera count". It's not really that much of a pain, if you don't get the achievement at the very last camera before the fire pit, then there's no point in progressing through the game and you can just restart.

Just get this and unlock the achievements you want.
