It gets models instead of func_movelinear/func_door/func_door_rotating pistons.
While they look awesome I am also glad VALVe kept the pistons too. (excursion funnel video)
However, do not go crazy over it just yet for a few reasons; One is if you get too hyped up over it you may make impossible expectations.(even unconciously) Two is, VALVe likes to pull fast ones, Beta Portal looked alot different then Portal. Even the close-to-release videos had better lighting/spiral portals (I personallty didn't like those so i am gladd they were removed.) so maybe they will do the same here, though I would hope not.[/spoiler]
