we have a fully working MP mod for portal!
our coder sent me the version, and MP works great!
we would like to take this time to rub it in a select few people's faces. but we don't need to bother over people like that.
however, I would like to say that we did not violate any rules here.
Do not post in ancient threads. If a thread is months old, just start a new one.
Don't post links to illegal files (warez, etc.). We aren't a piracy forum, so we won't for stand it. If you are looking to acquire some software, take it to PM please.
Don't ask where to find illegal files. If you don't know how to get your hands on something, you shouldn't be asking for it in the first place.
We have done our best to try and stop spambots, but we're not perfect. If you see a bot thread (links to sex tapes, sex sites, etc), REPORT IT! Click the Blue Card and an administrator or moderator will be notified. Also, DO NOT RESPOND TO SPAM THREADS! You may be Yellow Card'ed for this.
Speaking of Blue Cards, if you feel someone has violated a forum rule or is being out of line, click the Blue Card button (once!) and it will be flagged for the moderators. If you want to send a message to us, you can do so by following the links. Abuse of this feature will get you Yellow Carded!
Speaking of Yellow Cards, we are on a strict "3 strikes you're out" policy here. If you get a Yellow Card, it will show up underneath your username, and the moderator who did so will send you a PM of why you got it.

Community Forum Rules
Before asking a question, use the search features first! If it isn't there, look in the Wiki! Most likely, we've already answered your question and someone has posted it somewhere. If you still can't find an answer to you question, then feel free to post it.
The Community Releases and WIP boards are restricted posting only, meaning you cannot create a post there but you can reply. If you have something you want moved there, post it in the Maps and Mapping board with [RELEASE] or [WIP] in the title, and one of the Community moderators will move it to it's home
and honestly, I am quite annoyed that my original thread was locked.
if you don't want to put up with my "bull****", as many people have said, then don't read the thread!
and I will be happy to forward the "misinformed" mail to anyone who feels the extreme urge to know if we're telling the truth.
I actually feel quite insulted that it was locked. if you don't believe us, fine. but it's still a thread for my mod (or mappack. I really cannot be ****ing asked to argue anymore >.>), and shouldn't have been locked for a premature reason of not agreeing with someone.
portalplayer, my co-conceptor, couldn't have put it better. we can't wait to rub it in your face. I have never personaly posted that, but politeness stopped me doing so.
politeness? who cares here? we've personally seen an atmosphere of little to no politeness. 
oh, and if someone thinks I'm posting against the rules, I'm not. it's just negligence of people updating it if anything. and this thread has no right to be locked. it is still about our mod. and we want to keep everyone posted on it.
to be honest, I don't know why the hell I bother! I have made so many secret parts of the mod public just to try and please you guys. ONLY you at TWP. yet all it leads to is flaming, and the moderator acting in near the same way as the ones on facepunch
You don't need to violate rules to get a thread locked. And posting stuff like this is only going to put you on my bad side, so maybe you should follow the golden rule. Do never test.

the reason you don't like this thread is because you know locking the previous one was enforcing your opinion, which is very unprofessional. you don't like people pointing that out.
If you don't like this place or how things are run, you're free to leave because I'm sure as hell not changing that.

like I said, we got a beta of the MP mod today by our coder. and truth be told, it worked pretty damned well.
it isn't impossible. it just hasn't be completed successfully before.
many things that were impossible in history have been proved to be possible later
and the only reason I'm being a "smart ass" is because I found there to be no reason that my thread should have been locked.
I do listen. but I don't accept what anyone calls impossible. as said before, we have an MP mod, fully working, with a few bugs. some are major, but who cares? we have a mod that makes an MP function!
I am not pushing or shoving. I am pointing. pointing out how I think that you locking my thread had no grounds for needing to be locked, aside from opinion of what is impossible.
