Portal 2 Crashes when falling into goo with a paint cube
Quote from radelite on October 12, 2014, 1:03 amI have recently been making Paint Cube maps and was told that when falling into goo the game crashed.
I believe that it is the cube but its just a normal cube but with a paint sprayer parented to it so why is this happening?

If this really crashes the game you should send an input to those cubes, making them delete the paint_sprayer first and themselves afterwards.

OnStarttouch/Ontrigger -> !activator -> kill ?
And did you forget to uncheck clients?

And did you forget to uncheck clients?That might be the problem, I will check later.

Tried and that is not the problemAlso the cube does not have to be destroyed for the problem to occur you can hold it above your head even.

That aside, if it IS actually the cube's death causing the crash, you could try having a trigger_multiple trigger a relay to do as Skotty said, with the Physics Objects flag checked, and the Clients flag unchecked. If you have more than one cube, you could also try having it filter the particular cube out by name (Though there's probably a better way to do this that I'm simply missing. Please, if there is, let me know so I don't screw myself over if a problem like this arises.).
