Portal 2: Crushers. Need help !

Hello Gentlemen,

Excellent Page ! I'm glad i found this community.

I'm a bloody noob with the Hammer SDK, but from reading and lots of trying with the Alien Swarm SDK, i figured out most of the basics. So far i have no problems with creating my room, texturing it and playing it ingame. It all works fine :)

Now the Problem. I was planning on adding crushers to my map.
I followed this tutorial: http://developer.valvesoftware.com/wiki/Crusher forth and back, but i get stuck at the end.

How is this done ? I've looked up triggers and came as far as creating a brush with trigger material, and tie it to a trigger_ entity. but how do i actually enable the crusher ? or how can i have it active upon spawn.
i'm sorry im really a noob with hammer, i have no real clue about triggers, inputs, outputs and the like.

Or am i approaching it totally wrong ? I just want the crusher to be active. Cuz as of now, i followed the tutorial, but when ingame the crusher just sits there (no animation is played). i want it to crush.
