Portal 2: Mod Creation!

I am making a Portal 2 mod i was following a guide but is seemed to be *OUTDATED* Because i wanted to edit the main menu but what the guide was telling me didn't work one bit i followed all the steps correctly.

So what i desperately need is to be able to edit the main menu! I need help!

I am currently working on a Portal 2 Map series 'Testing for life'

Funny thing is, This is the guide i used and the menu editing part JUST WOULD NOT WORK!

Indeed, pretty much the whole team quit because they got board
