if it is, ah well. we'll have to work on the MP function the hard way. if not, we can release this another week or two quicker

open source sdk, click 'create a mod' > 'source code only' enter the location for it to be outputted to and it will put all the files there...

i presume when the SDK tells me its doing the source code that it will be source code...

then why is there code for portals, portal achievements, timers and counters and lots of stuff from portal?

anyway, I don't think that's the code. I suspect that would be the HL2 code.

on a side note, logically, the source code is on all of our computers.
I mean, surely the compiled code is used for the actual game?
so, logically, if someone were clever enough, they could try to decompile the game to get the source code?

idk. I don't know anything to do with the technical side of things

I know nothing about technical stuff, but I am good at common sense.

if no part of that code would work, well, portal wouldn't work

or at least, that's my theory. it's probably an irreversable final code or something
