You might just call this an unintended solution.[/spoiler]Thanks for that comment, I updated the map earlier today and fixed what you described.

RIGOROUS

A highly cognitive puzzle where finding the way out isn't as easy as it looks. I specifically designed the chamber so that the skill involved was low but still challenges the person to figure out the correct path.
Warning: not for the faint of heart. It will challenge your patience.

Quote from VyCe on May 9, 2012, 12:32 pmHey everyone, here's my first creation with the new level editor.
I'm working on a 3 part map pack, where I'll utilize each object in different parts. Here's the link to the first map pack - http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/f ... d=68590875
Let me know what you think of it, eagerly awaiting feedback.
I kept the difficulty on a small scale, the only catch is, you need to observe the environment properly and see the placements.
Cheers and have fun designing

mZLY wrote:As predicted; pointless thread is pointless. Everyone whoring their test and not looking at anyone else's. Utter chaos. After thinking about it, I think that each member should create one thread for their creations in that board suggestion thing I was talking about earlier. If the member creates more threads, either a moderator should delete the extra thread or a forum extension for phpBB of some kind should reject a new thread if the user has already created a thread in that board.

Quote from madcat1030 on May 9, 2012, 1:54 pmWell, just fixed up my puzzle, got rid of an exploit that allowed you to skip the entire redirection puzzle. Also added a cube-button to give the player an idea of where the cube is supposed to end up at some point. And a death fizzler that forces the player to use 2 portals, keeping them from getting out of a place they aren't suppposed to be able to, later on. I don't know if edits-published auto-update for players, but since only 3 people have played it, it's not a big deal...
I also got rid of the silly "jump and shoot portal from atop button" mistake I kept forgetting about.

Quote from DrLemur on May 9, 2012, 1:54 pmHi new to this forum and just started playing with the map editor. Not very good at it yet but I created a level and it would be awesome if someone would play it and gave me some feedback. I just want to know if it was too easy/hard/boring or whatever.. Or just that it works. Thanks heaps!
