Problem for Portal Multiplayer

In my maps, I've once placed a ragdoll.

I then went ingame and placed a portal under the ragdoll and above on the ceiling. The ragdoll magically dissapeared!

If anyone is ever going to make Portal Multiplayer, he's going to face this problem with the ragdolls of fragged people.

Be advised that any noticable taste of blood isn't part of any test protocol. But is an unintended side effect of the Hand-Held-High-Energy-Pellet.

Not if they design said multiplayer variant around my idea on this page. No need for ragdoll's, seeing as both players are separated.

Admiral Buttercrust will destroy you with his buttery goodness.

Yeah thats a fun idea, racing.

I think it would be fun to have the same test chamber, mirrored with a glass wall in the middle. So you can see what the other is up to.

With my idea, it would show your opponent's progress with a bar, and Glados could warn you that your opponent has activated a trap in your testchamber.

"As part of a required test protocol, we are required to warn you that your opponent has activated a trap in your chamber. Mind the gap."

It would throw up a wide array of possible oneliners for GLaDOS...

"The loser will be baked and the winner will get cake."
"Your best friend, and only friend, is the Companion Cube. Any attempts to become friends with your opponent will result in treatment with peptic salve."

And the likes.

"Duct Tape is the answer."

xD

Yeah a simple race wouldn't kill anyone near portals...
But if anyone's going to make an Arena style multiplayer out of Portal, he's going to face this problem.

I think that the modder can make the body vaporize just like the guns in HL2 at the citadel, and that it bounces off portals as if they were regular walls.
