If you use a Microsoft Windows Vista Handheld Portal Device, whenever you shoot a portal, it'll ask you three times if you're sure about it, and then crash.Touch?. I used XP for a while, and it wasn't all that bad...there were a few problems when I put in Portal, however. I was playing along fine; however, at the exact moment I got the blue-only ASHPD, the game crashed, so did Windows (more or less), and I found out that, if I remember correctly, one side of the desktop's graphics card just been cooked (well-done, I think). I turned down the graphics next time I played, and I didn't have any more trouble. Nine months ago, I got a new laptop running Vista; I'm able to run Portal pretty smoothly at 1280x800 res, with every graphics setting at it's highest, but no antialiasing. I'm quite happy with it. Vista doesn't actually crash that much at all; in fact, no more than XP. I have thought about loading in Windows 7; future project perhaps.

I've XP for a while, skipped over vista (Way too many horror stories from people I trust about computers) and I've heard decent things about win7.
If anyone has it or is going to get it, let me know.
