[Release] Chambre One (song)
Quote from dvlstx on January 19, 2009, 4:20 pmWell, I didn't realize how well hamsters Portal music would fit for some of my levels, but I still need soundtracks that make the player feel very much alone and isolated, even though GLaDOS is talking to them. Something that projects a feeling of desolation, (I think that's the right word...)
Basically, something slow, sad, and moody! You don't have to make something specially for me, but if you notice one of your songs meets the above criteria please give me a shout!
EDIT: The only thing I don't like about the Chambre One song is the repeating 'click-click' and 'wooshy' sounds. They got to me after a little while

Quote from Naulziator on January 21, 2009, 4:51 pmSeems I'm a bit tied up on job training (Dreamweaver, Photoshop CS4), God of War 1 and story writing for young teens. I'll see if I can squeeze in some editing on one of my songs for those who need the slow isolation mood. The mechanical mood one is closer to completion, but I'll fix that up afterwards.
PS: My avatar is a portrait I've drawn for one these stories I'm writing. He's quite a character to handle if one doesn't know enough of his background.
Hint:
He's responsible for the Tunguskra Fireball incident way back at the start of the Ninteenth Century
Fully recovered and kicking ham!
Now if only the snow and mud goes away (pigs truly hate wet mud!).

The sounds were to emphasize a damp environment as I'm trying to make the chamber look like it was recently hosed down by my facility's maitanance crew. Metal rooms with lots of cubemaps work better than the dryer cement rooms.
