Having seen my share of "Look I made a cube dispenser maps" I can say that this map should by no means be lumped in with those as a "test map."
This was actually a quality map, in the sense that it was playable, and while not overly challenging, I enjoyed running through it.

really? thanks. I dont know whether to move it to WIP though. I can if you guys want me to. I understand what Nyko is saying. sorry if I messed up, I guess it makes sense to put it in WIP

I'm sorry cornontheCoD. All the things I said were not directly in relation with you or your work. I understand that I may have hurt you, and I apology for this little mess.

What I said was not intended as an insult - you wanted a name for the map, I was offering my input. You could have called it Curiosity or WhatIsThat or something.

I did not intend to start this flame war. However, since it is happening...

I've read countless times that the first few (10+) maps that you make should NEVER be put out there on the internet for people to see (no matter how awesome you may personally think they are). Share them with close friends and get HONEST criticism and critique from them, but even after fixing these details, keep them behind closed doors.

After you've got a decent repertoire of created maps, feel free to start working on real releases. It's a good idea to look back on your original maps every few months and figure out what you could have done better - if you want to, once you're an experienced mapper, you can start your original maps over from scratch with your new skills.

I feel the need to repeat that my second and third maps are SnakePit and Rainbow Palace.

It all depends on how quickly you adapt to the program. I personally thought it was fucking easy.
