[RELEASE] pesp - Party Escort Submission Position
Quote from again on December 22, 2008, 3:24 pmit is a fun little map. i found the portal gun was very hard to find, but otherwise the game was fairly straightforward. although i did notice that at the end, with the broken pipe, you can stack some blocks to get into the pipe and use another block to jam it. once jhammed, no more blocks go by and you can unjam your own jam and get into the orange room beyond. from there you cant do anything at all though. but very fun game.

Quote from Aperture_X3LA on December 28, 2008, 7:56 pmVery great map! I didn't have any problems at all. I was about to quit in the unfinished room too, but then I
portaled a wall by a corner then on the wall next to it and kept running, but one of my portals disappeared and I realized it was on a moving wall
.
I also did not notice the
chariots of fire on the radio?
. I'll have to work on finding that later. But I did find the easter egg which I thought wasn't an easter egg at all.
I thought the easter egg at first was in the first "behind the scenes room" with the writing on the wall and TV ect. I thought it was the
login of Cave Johnson and Password to Aperturescience.com near the bottom of the graffitied wall
.
Overall, looking way forward to the future of this series! Very great!

And the chamber after the one with the pit in the middle of it, in episode 1 has stumped me!

Quote from Test Subject on January 7, 2009, 3:20 pmI am having trouble with the L shaped coridor as well, I'll try messing with it a little more, but if that doesn't work I'll just load the next map...
EDIT:
I re-loaded from a save a made in the L shaped room and it does a level jump instantly. When that finished loading, I walked forward to a door and it faded out and said Episode 1 coming soon.
That was a pretty cool map. It had good details. However the portalgun
was kind of hard to find on top of that shelf in the dark.
The "Elevator Room" I was a little confused, but then I found out I had to
use the companion cubes from the "PortalGun Room" to climb up to the first door and use it. I kind of figured to "use" the door because of the arrow pointing to it.
I did have a little bit of trouble in the "unfinished room", but I finally
started walking against the walls pressing the use button to see if anything happened, and saw the one part moved in.
A pretty good map, I'm gonna play the Episode 1 version now.
Some Problems:
You can shoot portals underwater...
Other than that, I didn't find anything wrong.

But for honesty's sake... i think i should say, this isn't exactly your first submission to the community

Well i submitted a WIP for a background map, hardly significant

Quote from larsh on September 25, 2009, 5:40 pmHi,
The forum rules say not to post in a topic that's more than a month old, just create a new one. But when I try to create a new topic, it says I'm not allowed. So here we go.The links to the downloadable file in the OP are broken... when I click on them, I get a page saying the file does not exist. Is there somewhere I can get them?
Thanks,
Lars

http://forums.thinking.withportals.com/dload.php?action=file&file_id=308Also, you need to get 7zip to extract it.
As for creating new threads: you can't create new threads in "Community Releases" and "Work in Progress". It's usually OK to bump a thread if you've just joined (Welcome, btw ) and want to comment on a map you played. (or want to play). Don't overdo it however
