19 portals (Gold is 19)
145 steps (Gold is 220)Pretty well balanced except the steps. I'm usually pretty good at the steps, if you want me to test any of your upcoming maps steps challenges.
Thanks for the offer, I will keep you in mind when it comes time to test

Once up there, shoot a portal on the ground in front of the ledge with the door that opens, and one on the ground below you. Hit the button and jump down into the one on the group...you might come up backwards through the other one though, so make sure you know which way to go once you come out.[/spoiler]

Quote from DELTA2468 on November 18, 2007, 1:14 pmI know how to do it I just have trouble making it to up to the other ledge cause I said I fail at flinging. I guess I will take another shot at it later though.

Quote from Lorithad on November 18, 2007, 1:23 pmNot sure if this helps or not, but i've noticed that a lot of my friends have needed to increase their mouse sensitivity to do a lot fling techniques. They just can't aim and shoot fast enough otherwise.
If not, just keep at it. You'll be a pro-flinger soon enough.

Quote from DELTA2468 on November 18, 2007, 5:47 pmI figured out that you had to put a portal parrel with the ledge so you come out close enough to the ledge to make it on to it. After that I finished the rest of the level.

Quote from youme on November 19, 2007, 12:22 pmNice map, good puzzles, unfortunatly i found it blindingly easy, which is a first for the custom maps, usually i find them really hard.
It is possible to get stuck, If the player doesn't take the first cube with them to the second button then they are left in an area with only one cube and no way to portal back to the other cube.
Also you have some floors which are pitch black - ugly

Quote from MrTwoVideoCards on November 25, 2007, 1:31 amAfter playing it i really liked the map, it was very well made, and the choice of lighting was good, however it seems that there were a few areas where the hue of blue was off.
Aside from that, the puzzle was very good.
However one of the most notable thing is the cube surrounded by fizzlers. The button needs to be addressed and highlighted within the map a bit more.
Most people tend to look at the cube and immediately take their eyes off of the button. Another final thing was the maze within the area where you needed two Cube's. This was good, but often too confusing as the player needed to do alot of unnecessary Back-Tracking.
However very good map, and hope to see more.
