Safe ceiling squat portals?

I think it's pretty clear that while the portals are displayed as ovals, the actual collision hole is more rectangular in shape.
The two-cube thing sounds pretty cool though. Making a platforming puzzle could be neat, but once somebody does it I'm certain it will get old fairly quickly.
