Again, Wheatley is a moron core, and sentient turrets are only experimental and not being able to do much, leaving only GLaDOS as a potential leader.

Quote from msleeper on April 27, 2011, 3:51 pmThe turrets are only "sentient" in the sense that they're an AI. I don't think they are really connected or networked or anything with GLaDOS or any other Aperture AI's. Remember, they were a consumer and military product. They were designed to be stand-alone.

Quote from Player1 on April 27, 2011, 5:33 pmIt's besides the point really. The automated facility maintenance systems do not have to be sentient to maintain the system. You only need real intelligence (which is not necessarily the same as sentience) to handle truly unforeseen events / catastrophic system failures.

Even if he's a "moron core" he is still AI. What I think PLayer1 means is that there is plenty of non-GLaDOS AI lying around Aperture Science.

Quote from Welsh Mullet on May 13, 2011, 11:43 pmI saw a timeline where someone appropriated that portal 2 is actually 27 years (9999 days) after portal 1, explaining the plants (all fast growing) and the fact that all the paper/chairs/wood/metal hasn't rotted to kingdom come yet.
