Nice map. I found an alternative way to do the end.

Fix it if you feel like it.

Glad you liked it!
It isn't really an alternative way; since you already pressed the button, it's just a bit more convenient so I think I'll leave it in :)
Thanks for the video though

Great Map :D 5/5
It was a slightly difficult map and not boring ^^

Spotlight is the perfect time to fix some long standing issues:

Code: Select all
- Fixed various indicator lights
- Fixed the autoportals so they show the proper frame colors
- Fixed lighting issues on stairs
- Fixed various texture issues
- Moved portalgun
- Moved information sign
- Improved opimization
- Added more details to the observation rooms
- Made easter egg more visible
- Added a big area to the easter egg
- Added various soundscapes
- Added some more signage

Also moved to the workshop for convenience sake :)

PS: the extra addition to the easter egg should be worth an extra playthrough :P

Indeed.

Here's my blindrun:

Easter Egg discovery at the end of the blindrun.

Not too sure about this one - in the room with the cube you don't need either the yellow portal or the panel which juts out from the wall, and I'm generally averse to unnecessary elements in chambers. Especially here, as it made the puzzle look like it was going to be a lot more complex than it actually was, leading to a feeling more of disappointment than satisfaction when I found my way to the exit....

All feedback welcome!

The orange portal and the pannel are indeed not used for the solution. However they're not useless...

Using only one portal was fun once again !
The only thing I did not like on this was

I think you should MAYBE remove the deathray, it had no real purpose. :S Or did it ?
I always like puzzles that show the exit right at the beginning and propose a way around it :>

Yeah; there's a problem with that soundscape and it's fixed in my current version but something somewhere went terribly wrong with updating it to the workshop; so my old version is still up :(
I'll fix it later today :)

Okay the new and updated version is online; this time with all the changes it should've had when I updated it earlier. So the easteregg is much better; and there are a lot of other, smaller fixes as well!

Yeah, spotlight the old maps again..

...and again...

...and again!

Sure, there aren't good new maps! :)
