[SP] Deja Vu
Quote from greykarel on May 13, 2013, 2:45 pmA laser puzzle for experienced players.
I've taken my first ever made and published map and played around it with some new ideas. So people who has played the original map may have some deja vu.Credits:
Head Shot for beta-testing
Josepezdj for custom water texture
Brainstone for elevators instances.

Quote from RogerL on May 13, 2013, 6:54 pmWell, it took me about an hour to get the second cube. And I think I have a way to get to the exit. It looks pretty good so far. But is the first fizzler
only supposed to wipe portals but not fizzle cubes
? If so, shouldn't you have used a different texture for that one?

Quote from greykarel on May 14, 2013, 4:03 amHm, all the fizzlers should work as usualy. I can't check it atm. If I realy missed it I'll fix it later.

Quote from Shakky on May 14, 2013, 2:15 pmGreat map! I don't think I have the intended last move figured out yet but I loved how getting the second cube was done. The angles are really clever and it makes you think.
Here are few mostlikely unintended final moves:
1oItjrheEi8
I'll take another look at this later.

Quote from greykarel on May 14, 2013, 2:41 pmWell done, Shakky. Thanks for your video. Both ways are unintended indeed. The first one is realy awesome, I don't even know if I will (or can) fix it. The second one will be fixed.
EDIT. Turning upper row of tiles in black in the enter area fixes both the ways. The map is updated.

Quote from josepezdj on May 15, 2013, 4:55 pmHaha... I got the 2nd cube... finally!! I'm with it, let's see if I can finish it, but let's call it a day for today. Goodnight.
EDIT
SOLVED! Wow man, what a tough puzzle! A real challenge in such a small area. It's simply brilliant my friend. My deepest congratulations for coming with this idea!
The only part I'm not completely sure is
when I leave the 1st cube at the last part so near of the fizzler to later destroy it because that jump from the cube to reach the bridge felt to meany, but the only way I could come up with...
. I hope to hear your comments!
Thanks again for creating this! Impressive.
Give the video around 2 hours....

Quote from greykarel on May 20, 2013, 10:45 amHeh, my friend, I'm, fool, have been waiting for your new post yesterday. And havn't seen you'd updated your previous post. Your way for the last move is unintended. It should be more elegant.
EDIT. I've fixed josepezdj's way up. The map is updated.

Quote from greykarel on May 22, 2013, 11:11 amYeah, that's almost intended. The only difference is that you aim the cube beforehand in blind, which is not very reliable. Jose showed the better (intended) way to get to the cube in the bridge area.

Quote from josepezdj on May 23, 2013, 7:34 amHah, I KNEW IT!
I knew that I had to fizzle the 1st cube using that fizzler that Headshot used! But I just didn't figure out to use the laser "in reverse" that way!
Damn!
I guess that there is no other way now after the latest update...
although to be honest, I really liked that way I did the final step
EDIT
Grey, let me apologize for not insisting a little bit more and manage to complete the latest version. Since I already spent a lot of hours in this complex and awesome challenge solving everything except the very last move, I simply gave up and watched Headshot's soltution ... I feel so sorry if I disappointed you, my friend... it won't happen again
