___________________I took a break from mapping for being able to concentrate on my studies, but during the preparation for the exams it helped me to find some distraction from the stress of learning and was a good support for mental recovery freeing my mind. I really often see it as some kind of meditation which shuts out the whole world around me.
Thanks to Shakky for his 'unique' ninja-way of finding exploits and playtesting and josepezdj (Jose) for his keen eye spotting some visual issues.I'm just about to map some kind of a shakky-proof map. It's some kind of a cage in the center of a room surrounded by lethal laser fields and no portable areas around and he spawns - yes, you guessed right, inside the cage
Difficulty? I really don't know. All I can say is that I have sloth-like reflexes and am no ninja type of player at all. The puzzles are quite basic and have only a few 'new' elements which are hopefully interesting enough to enjoy this map.___________________
KNOWN ISSUES (so far):
___________________- Although I've added some autosaves where I thought they might be appropriate and helpful it might be counterproductive to quicksave at the wrong time. Usually you can't avoid such things - it's often not preventable due to the gameplay/puzzle structure/logic - However that's a common problem with puzzles in general.
- You might encounter some serious issues when no-clipping outside the map.
Nope, no built-in no-clipping protection but probably caused by the heavy use (or abuse, if you prefer) of detail brushwork. I know it's expensive but the way I like to map...
You shouldn't no-clip anyways - It's like walking straight on stage and examining a magician's sleeves or peeping behind the set

Quote from PCdoc on September 12, 2014, 11:34 amQuite simply - a fantastic 2-chamber Map. Deserves 6 Stars if only they had it.
Chamber 1 is a wonderfully convoluted exercise in observation and patience. The environment sets a mysterious tone. After much effort I was able to get to Chamber 2 and there the true mastery begins. You must go through a series of stepa - each difficult - to enable a final, tricky Laser path to be enabled which allows you to finally - FINALLY - EXIT !!I loved this map in every way.
