Quote from Dafflewoctor on January 18, 2014, 11:06 amThank you for this outstanding map. The interlude was clever, too, although I don't think I fully understood it.
Was there any particular reason that in the second chamber, there was a laser cube but no laser?

Thanks for your feedback Glad you liked it, won't be making the next one for quite a while, gotta focus entirely on Portal Stories now or Anna will kill me

Quote from sicklebrick on February 6, 2014, 4:04 amNot sure how I missed this one :S Been looking forward to the third installment for ages now.
Totally didn't disappoint I thought the detail in the normal bits was intense, but those 'interstitial' bits were just nuts... cables, rails, wall parts, piles of stuff everywhere, and all nicely lit. Damn.At times it was kinda dauntingly over-detailed and a little busy for the eye, but as it reconstructed I felt like I got this lovely sort of relaxing feeling. My only concern is that it felt like there was a bit less in the way of actual puzzle and the lengths you'd gone to to lock everything down made it feel more enclosed than previous enjoyments, but I really enjoyed the map!
I found some unintended solutions that skip like 80% of the map, and the middle section is mostly walking, so there's no point posting unless you're desparate to see.
Thanks for mapping ^^
P.s. hurry up with portal stories.

Yeah I do agree with your feedback, Anna had some of the same feelings, often get complaints over my map difficulty on the workshop so I tried tweaking to be a bit easier but think ill just stick to my own weird difficulty curve again :p Also gonna try to reduce using portal surfaces and grating, its such a pain, makes the puzzle easier as its more obvious which surface to use, and you have to put the grating so far back or physics just fails. Lessons learned :p
Glad you enjoyed anyway

Quote from joric on May 16, 2018, 8:29 pmDid you make MEL portal stories? Omg! The second chamber kind of reminds portal stories map that one where you jump down along the light bridge. Superb medium difficulty map, but yeah, laser cube but no laser. Very detailed, 5/5 overall.
Upd. gotcha, there were 3 of you, Lpfreaky90 (Aperture Valentine), Tmast98 (The Winter Testing Initiative) and LoneWolf2056 (Dilapidation series, Reconstruction Series). I guess you did all the essential parts
