spoiler tag button?

I don't see a spoiler tag button when I am posting, so I have to write the tags by hand and that is very unpractical. A spoiler tag button among the other tag buttons would be nice

I've never used those buttons for anything, I always type them in where it's for spoilers, image, quote, code and so on... It's not required... just don't be lazy.

well, I mean, when I am ready to send my post, I read it again to correct typos and mistakes, and then I realise that I should have included some text into spoiler tags. Wouldn't it be easier just to mark the text with mouse cursor and then press the Spoiler button?

I've thought about adding a spoiler tag button but I can't really be bothered to figure out where it goes.

It would be a nice feature to have and I'm sure if you moved all the other tag buttons closer together you could squeeze it in but I don't think typing out the tag is all that much trouble. One little trick I picked up in Java class was making my tags like so:

1) I press the [ and ] keys
2) I hit the left arrow key to place the cursor between the brackets
3) type in the tag, in the case "spoiler" or "/spoiler"
4) either hit the right arrow key or the "end" key to place the cursor outside of the brackets.

It may seem silly and if you're a good typist it's not even necessary but I find it speeds thing up for me. I just realized I do the same thing when using quotes. It would be a nice and convenient feature but if it never happens, no big deal.

"Hey look, a thread about <insert topic here>."

*Reads the thread.*

"WHAT THE HELL! THERE IS INFO ABOUT <insert topic here> ALL OVER THE PLACE! WHY ARE THERE NO SPOILER TAGS!"

*Kills self.*

And so ends another the life of another person who was too stupid to avoid spoilers. Tragic.

I do it the same way. Anyway, newbies in these forums can get confused because they don't know a spoiler tag exists, and if they know (if they have read a post with a spoiler tag), they don't know how to use it in their own posts. As for myself, I have just thought that it could be [ spoiler ] tag, and it really was 8)
But I was not so smart to try quoting someone else's post and see the spoiler tag for myself
