i never rely on autosave. when playing portal (or any other game that allows you to easily save/load/etc) i hit the quick save button (often f5 for me, cuz thats where i move it) constantly. especially in games that stack more than one autosave (ie: hl2,portal,etc)

Doubly so because F5 is Quick Save in the Max Payne games.

Quote from Ricotez on September 8, 2008, 11:16 amI've started a new game with herbivore insects, staying in the green all time (being friendly), and I actually reached space phase now. I make sure I save regulary, so I won't lose my game in a crash again. I have noticed that the first four phases of the game don't go very deep, which is kinda disturbing and a fail. Nevertheless, they're all much fun, and by the time you grow bored of one phase, you can already almost advance to the next one. The space phase is by far the most complex, adds the depth the game actually needed earlier and twists the entire gameplay (again), though I hate the pig-like guys who keep asking me for money in exchange for not starting an interstellar war. I love the space ship creator, have already created a bunch of ships, and all the other creators.
I might post some screenshots later.

Quote from Duffers on September 8, 2008, 12:05 pmMy shit is an omnivore and it resembles a scorpion.
The thing that made me sad was that I tried to turn my tanks, airplanes and boats into a scorpion shape and then put all the guns on the end of the tail, because that's how my species was before I went tribal. Unfortunately, I couldn't get it to work. Not enough freedom, unfortunately. Closest I got was... Well I'll take screenshots of everything later.

True, the first four phases lack depth, but they're still fun to play and the space phase is just totally awesome. I managed to terraform a planet from T0 (unhospitable) to T2 (quite hospitable), and I'm at war with pigs.

Or else I'm gonna shove it right back down Wal-Mart's throat and demand a refund, because that was not mentioned on the box and I did not pay for that shit.

The more you give, the less appreciated it will be received.

Make your own, you just need to trick the game into thinking you have it running .
