Quote from Lorithad on November 13, 2007, 11:25 amI played the first two levels of stations before I had making thinkingwithportals my prefered choice for custom portal maps.
I was wondering when the author was going to get around to posting it so I could comment on it.
I really liked Stations. It had it's challenges, but I always knew where I needed to go. I just needed to figure out how to get there every now and then.
I'm pretty sure I did most of the first station level not quite as intended though.
Step up portals make it very easy to get to the end.
Oh, and on the second station (If I remember right) There was a problem that the cube would spawn out every time I loaded. Meaning I had to
Go back all the way from the start (assuming I saved when I had the cube on the button), retrieve the cube again, and bring it back. At least the turrets were already dead, so that made it slightly easier.
However, I'm not sure if any of that has been changed in the version you released here. I fully intend to give it another shot once I get back from work.

Quote from Lorithad on November 13, 2007, 8:35 pmJust finished the updated map pack. Hot damn I love your maps.
You must have changed the
asteroid hopping
area this time around, because I found it MUCH more challenging. Which is good, cause I found it easy one the previous release.
Was very surprised by the
HL2 sniper
that you had in the third map.
I don't know if it's possible for you to delay the sniper's shot for another second or so. I had to die twice before figguring out where I needed to go.
I look forward to future releases

Quote from indy on November 19, 2007, 11:00 pmonce again thanks for the kind words and suggestions, they will all be taken into account while i design the levels.
btw I just updated the pack, and station 2 has gotten a major overhaul and difficulty has been ramped up a bit.
as usual click the link in the first post to download it.
media fire host has problems occasionally but if the dl doesnt work try again later and it should be fine.
thanks again and enjoy =]

Quote from Lorithad on November 29, 2007, 2:07 amFinished station 3. Not a fan of having to do math. But the questions were easy, so I won't break your legs. This time.
As always, the maps are very visually appealing, and pretty well made. Keep up the good work

Quote from Lorithad on November 29, 2007, 6:30 pmIndy, I just noticed that the map pack you have in the database is...invalid.
dload.php?action=file&file_id=89
The download button forwards to a mediafire download page that says the file no longer exists.
If you want to upload your most recent build to the database, that would be great
