Test Subject #13 Storyline

I liked B because it was more innovative going through chambers backwards would be very unique but it seems like the whole story would be a fight to get through apeture science and if done right it could feel like you were forging your one way the whole time instead of just following a line of test chambers.

Bad idea, I barely have enough will power to do one, which is why I'm making this thread and opening this project up to more people.

I think A is a better idea.

Though B sounds more controversial, I think the collisions you'd get with the Portal storyline would waste the idea. Sure, there are more Portal-clones (also in storyline), but why is that so bad? Portal was one of the greatest games that were launched in the past few years, and not only because of the gameplay concept, but also of the story that, how small it was, benefited of an extreme growth during the game. Also the mysteries in it, that still aren't all solved when you hit the credits, add a lot of depth.

Also, you said that Story B had a more developed storyline, which is why it sounds cooler right now. But just develop the story for A and you'll be set. And I think i speak for a number of us when I say more BTS = GOOD.

and its neat in user maps as a little "easter egg" but unless someone did a good job requiring it to be used (ie: the destruction of part of the map in order to proceed) then they are usually just annoying.
