Yes. If he follows the pattern I did, he'll start saying things worth acknowledging in about 4 years' time. ;)

There is no "N" in "Turret."

I think the only reason iWork925 hasn't been banned yet is due to msleepers limited internet acces :P

But at least he's straight to the point, honest and helpful in a certain way :P

Between all these way to nice people afraid of hurting other peoples feelings... he keeps the balance :)

I am being... reviewed?

I am merely expressioning my opinion of laggers maps and of lagger in general. I am not the only one who feels this way about lagger.

And the only real reason I havn't been banned is because I have done nothing wrong. Reread the rules, there is no rule against critisim. If lagger can't take advice then the fate of bad maps from him is all that remains for us.

"Oh, in case you got covered in that repulsion gel, here's some advice the lab boys gave me: DO NOT get covered in the repulsion gel."

Lagger's map looks adequate,
I recommend a skybox that is like the end of portal
add some hard core test chambers
Make turrets deal super damage
Import custom textures
Sewer water should be a func_water_analog
Use GLaDOS
Add different themes
Surprise at the end
More surprises
Custom props
Custom testing elements

You should NEVER do that. It will make the map frustrating and even less enjoyable.

Would be redundant in portal.

Trivial.

This is beyond laggers "scope".

Yes, criticism technically isn't against the rules, but being so... discrete is not always the best option. When people don't know you personally and can't hear your tone of voice, it just makes you seem like a dick if you always make posts like that.

Also, reread the first post to this thread:

if you're going to provide feedback make it constructive. Don't pull an "OMG thos lazors suck and look ulgy", instead say "Good sir, I do think you might want to align the front of that laser with the wall. Cheerio."
Try out Twin Pillars, a Portal 2 map by BOB74j.

Good sir, I think you may wish to abandon your attemps at making those kinds of maps and focus more on more aesteticly pleasing maps. If people wanted to be in big open areas I believe they would play Half Life 2. Cheerio.

PS. I dont see how wording it differently will make any difference but what ever floats ya boat Bb. If that is your real name.

I agree with BOB74j though. Making those comments really makes you seem like a dick since you make them so often. Although I agree his map does not look like something I'd want to play.

My Maps:

I'm deciding tho put the map on hold due to running out of ideas. I gave some turrets super damage to spite iWork. I realize some people on this website dislike me, but what are they going to do? Type up an insult? Please...

Anyway, I'm going back to my original piece of work that I was going to enter in the Summer Contest, but it would have taken too long to submit an entry. Since I have been experimenting with some new stuff (3D Skyboxs, changes in gravity, etc.), I'm going to submit a WIP in 2-4 days of a space themed tutorial map for a short co-op MapPack. You'll start out without a Portal Gun and must find one in a Storage Room in a spaceship. There is also a special room with low gravity for practicing jumping before reaching the moon (which is exactly 1/6). Of course, here are pictures. 3rd picture is an attempt of making a good sized moon.

Crazy is as crazy does.

Maybe add custom textures and models, like Saturn, control center, earth, astronaut suits, metal, wind tunnel?
