There should be an email notification of the new domain.

The only reason I found the site was because I accidentally found its link while looking at a workshop map lol

I received an email notification of it. Maybe you had emails from the website disabled.

Hm not sure cause I got email from password reset fine.

That's separate. In your settings there should be an option asking if you want to receive emails from the administrator or something along those lines. Password reset emails are independent of that setting.
