Valve Hammer Editor help?
Yeah that would be why. If you own any Source game then you can use the SDK, even for the free Portal version. The problem is that Coover55 doesn't own ANY Source games, and ONLY has the free Portal version. So that means no SDK.

I WAS able to download the SDK when I got it though. I have had this account since the free portal week and just recently started to buy games with it. I have had the SDK on my hard drive for a while though.

Not sure what to tell you really. Maybe you pirated the SDK and didn't know about it?
By the way, your signature is too tall. Either remove the text at the top of lower the font size of your stick figure.

Yeah, I didn't have any Source games before. But luckily, I'm getting HL2 and GMod later today, so not only will I be able to play on the awesomeness called GMod, but I will also get the legit Source SDK. Wish me luck with my map 
P.S. The map is gonna be like a really cool maze. I'm gonna put it in 2 difficulties:
Easy
Portal Pro (PP xD I'm so childish 
)
I'm also gonna make a <Holiday Name Here> map just to walk around in and listen to <Holiday Name Here> music =D
