Quote:Episode Two includes a reporting mechanism which tells us details about how people are playing the game. We're sharing the data we collect because we think people will find it interesting, and because we expect to spot emergent problems earlier, and ultimately build better products and experiences as a result. These statistics show how long players took to complete Episode Two, average deaths per map, which advanced rendering options were enabled, and a whole lot more. They even have color-coded "topographical" maps that show where in the map most players died.
Unfortunately, there doesn't appear to be any Portal-specific data.

Quote from youme on November 16, 2007, 6:57 pmfinally! I've been looking for these for weeks
the 'death maps' are really interesting, people are dying in really silly places
It still amazes me how many people play it on medium, I went straight into hard and found it reasonably easy
And only 60% of people 'met the hunters'.... truely pathetic

Quote from Crooked Paul on November 16, 2007, 9:49 pmI played it on medium. I could probably play it on hard, but I find that when I do this I get kind of tense and overconcerned with hoarding ammo, etc, and I don't enjoy the experience as much. So medium suits me.

Quote from Rivid31 on November 17, 2007, 12:30 pmI never pay attention to how far I am in the game. I horde ammo the entire game and end the game with all my guns full except the bit of ammo I use on the last fight, of pretty much every FPS. But it's fun at any rate
