I plan on making an entire re-make of portal, grand plan, I know but how hard can it be? its only 19 short levels.

....famous last words....

Here is the map, It probably wont even make it into the final 19 maps (put it in C:Program FilesSteamSteamAppsusernameportalportalmaps)

Please note one thing you should know - you can place portals on all textures, please don't I've followed the same conventions as the official game, metal can't have portals whilst concrete can.

Edit: Updated the file, now the metal walls are unportalable and ive made a few tweaks here and there

It's pretty good, just need the metal walls to block portals and you may need to increase the lighting a bit.

The floor on the platform you fling to is one of the metal floors, so when the SDK comes out you won't be able to

Lets get some of the turrets on non-portalble floor, make getting past them a bit harder.

Nice map, you should make all the turrets so you can't put portals under them, make it a real challenge xD.

Yeah that would be hard then, just make a patch of portable wall behind them, only enough to place one Portal on the whole brush, takes some good aiming.

Played it. Enjoyable. Portal flinging while carrying a cube, however, is something I don't like seeing in maps, simply because it's really unrealistic sometimes, in that you can fly through the portal holding the cube, then the cube gets stuck on something and you still fly across the room, but you're still "holding" the cube, and it catches up to you after you stop moving. :?

A very simple map, but still worth the play.

I noticed one thing that bothered me slightly on it though.

It just seems like where the inside edges of the portals are, shouldn't be portalable. Very minor.
