ok so yeah this is my current portal mapping project, THEE OMEGA PROJECTZOR

its basicly another division of aperture science, set deep in the alaskan mountain range.
so that means snow! and lots of it!

right now i have the intro, and chambers 1, 2, 3 and 4 mostly complete

first map(intro) download:

skyboxes are only usable if you are NOT using ANY portals (either player placed or game placed)
otherwise you have to use regular flat sky textures (which aren't that bad)

That's only for 3d skyboxes that it doesn't work; 2d skyboxes work fine.

any comments on the actual map so far?

Holy crap, that looks awesome! It looks like a great setting for a new story - a secluded, out of the way mountain base where science can go unchecked... I see nothing that could go wrong :D .

Anyway, I'm sure we're all looking foreword to more screenshots! Keep up the good work.

in case you cant tell, im going for a really cold lighting scheme, because, since your in the artic, i want the player to feel cold in the maps, like a window was left open or something :P
