You Know You've Been Doing Too Much Hammer When...

I don't think I've done anything bad recently, but feel free to correct me if I'm wrong. I love being here and will try to fix problems to stay. Also, while we're on this topic:

When you keep mixing up two light switches and wish you could unbind and rebind them.

Quote from BenVlodgi on February 18, 2013, 1:32 amThis is more Portal 2 than hammer, but today at work (I work in a coffee shop) I wanted to know what size coffee the customer was ordering, so I mentally tried to press TAB to see what my co-worker (coop partner) was seeing. Needless to say it didn't work... I don't have a TAB button with me at work =

I'd been playing for several hours straight, because it had just been released, and I was so submerged in it I pretty much forgot the real world existed. In one chamber, a cube fell on an AFP and hurtled towards me, which I was most certainly not expecting. My reflexes kicked in and I raised my left hand to try to catch the cube, as if it would cause Chell to catch it or something
It was at that point I decided it was time to take a break.

Quote from Caden on February 18, 2013, 9:11 pmYou know you've been using Hammer too much when all Valentines day means to you is, "I should make some tests in Hammer with a Companion Cube meme in it". I never got around to it, unfortunately.

Quote from Gemarakup on February 19, 2013, 12:43 amWhen you're outside, looking at the sky (skybox) and the buildings and props (models), and you wonder what kind of fog controller was put there. You listen to the soundscape from the cars and birds.
Also, this may be more about Portal 2, but, for no reason, I shout "MrMevious!" And people don't understand what I want from them.

On a side note, I look at shadows and wonder where the env_projectedtexture could be.

All the lighting is static.

Quote from Gemarakup on February 19, 2013, 12:23 pmThe whole day, puzzles show up and overload your brain and sometimes, it makes you waddle outside while you're not even conscious of what's happening until you find out. Probably the best way to get off the couch. (The puzzles are so good, you don't want to stop walking around in circles in your backyard). Besides, something's pushing me to say "Mevious" again. MrMevious! Also I wonder why it's not a real word in the dictionary. (Real stories).
EDIT: Also, because I'm one of these exited people (at least when people are not looking), I "bunnyhop". I'm pretty good at doing it in real life, because, I sometimes climb the stairs starting with the third step.
