help!
such as after about 5 minutes into using hammer, my computer freezes up.
It could be a number of things, be more specific. Any error box?
When I was teaching a summer camp Hl2 modding course this was a problem on a few of the machines.
What hardware are you using?
While running hammer, press Ctrl + Alt + Delete and go to performance. Look at the CPU Usage. when opening and running hammer. If the CPU usage is unusually high, go to the PRocesses tab and find Hammer, then look at what the "CPU" is. If Hammer's CPU usage is above 80% then atleast you know hammer is causing your PC to freeze up.
When I was teaching camp we had a separate program that when ever hammer opened up it would for some odd reasion, go to 100% CPU usage and then freeze the computer.
