This was a nice map. I liked the puzzle in the final room. And I'm glad to see you had as much trouble fizzling the cube as I did. The exploring part was okay for what it was, but it was a little odd to see the clean fizzlers in that environment (or any fizzlers, for that matter). It's obvious you put a lot of work into this map. Thanks for creating.

Thanks, actually the laser was the only thing pointed by my beta tester that i forgot to correct before release, that moment on the playtrought was when i noticed that i will correct in a future update, the fizzlers models is other thing that i have to change... i was needing a portal cleanser , is better then use invisible ones (Yup i remembered you Lone Wolf XD).

And i have one question: You said that "The exploring part was okay for what it was..." i want to know from you whay you think that it was.. and with base on that, what suggestions you have for me to improve in the future maps?.

Ps: Don't get me wrong... i really want to know what to improve .

The clean fizzlers make sense for me, since the offices seem to be built just before moving to the clean-style maps. I thought the office areas looked very nice, loved all the custom posters. This map is very good.

Just a little thing though, the Old Aperture vertical doors should use the sound "World.UndergroundHeavyMetalArrive" and open/close much faster. Perhaps the 'no fizzling rubbish' sign shouldn't use the word 'fizzler', since that name isn't really used in-game.

Portal is essentially a puzzle game. The exploratory bits are in there mainly to advance the story. So I don't expect much to happen in these kinds of sections and that is what usually happpens: nothing. You find a switch to throw, you read some posters, you marvel at the lovely, detailed rooms. But what I really want is another puzzle. Your Future-Starter maps have been better than most at giving us some excitement along with the exploring. And so I don't have any suggestions for you. Your maps are lovingly detailed and thoughtfully constructed. I don't mind some exploring. It's just not why I play Portal.

Ok, thx for answering, i'm a little sad that you don't have any suggestions, this is the first time that i'm trying to create a story based mappack so i'm trying now to take some opinions and suggestions here an there to help me in create better maps in the future.

Here's a suggestion: the elevator ride at the beginning is too long; make it go faster. In the puzzle room at the end, it makes no sense that you can't fire a portal through the laserfield; add a fizzler.

EDIT: You might also want to add some autosaves, especially one as you enter the puzzle room at the end.

I'm sorry. You're right, there are autosaves. I'm not sure why it didn't work before, but I couldn't reproduce the problem I had earlier.

Wow, your detail will never stop amazing me. This was really good, and the visuals were just great! I liked the plot twist. Since you are looking for suggestions, I came up with one that may make the player seem much more alone in your map. That is, bear with me here, cut the music. It's a nice touch, but when it comes to being all alone, music does not help that.
When it comes to sound effects, It's always nice to always have the sound of a buzzing fluorescent light in the background with nothing else playing, or random water drips that sound far off. This adds to the sense of isolation, which is what I'm guessing you're going for. The background sound effects that you have do fit nice, but they would be better if they only were played after the part where you loose the portal gun. In the places before that, you should only have sounds corresponding to where you are. In small offices, you could put the fluorescent light sound, and in the caves, you could put the water drip sounds. I use these in my maps (currently unreleased) to add to the sense of isolation.
Anyways, I really enjoyed your maps, and I'm really looking foreword to the next one. The Lone Future maps are actually probably my favorite that I have played. Keep up the good work!

An excellent piece of mapping. I rather enjoy the hunting around, but as others mentioned I missed the occasional puzzle or even just a fling during the hunting. The final clean room puzzle was well done... Thanks for creating.

Great map, and while the plot twist confused me it was still funny. Even though I like the puzzle, I loved the exploration part much more just because of the sheer detail.

Also really liked the computer thing, reading Cave Johnson's email. Would be interesting to know how you did that.

The only problem I had with this map is the part where you had to enter the password... When it said hit "enter" I must have sat there five minutes pressing enter but it didn't work. Finally I tried to press E and it worked...was this intended? If it is you should really change this.
