Hi all,

If you want to help the mod, you can add me on Steam. (samditmissile)

Me too, i'm very surprised of the reactions, and very happy.

So, for the "gameplay" it will be : "One player is GLaDOS and another player is a subject like chell or another subject."

I have finish to make the intro room, she's pretty and i think you will be happy when you will see her.

But, i don't have Internet on my PC and i'm on the PC on my dad actually. (He uses the connection of his phone.)

I will be happy to post screenshoots when i will have Internet. (Tomorrow, maybe)

Thanks all, and if you have any questions you can post them or add me on steam > samditmissile.

Bye !

For some reason you don't seem to be receiving Steam messages I send when you're offline, so I'll post here for now.

What other elements do you want to be controllable? The standard "output" test elements are fairly boring: you press +attack to activate them, release to deactivate.

We need to speak in private, about the interface of GLaDOS.

But when i send to you a message, you don't respond. :c

Either PM him or actually wait till he is at his PC. I don't think reposting is a good idea.

Good job. It's not really something that increases expectations though. Try a big BTS maybe.

The ceiling texture is for underground I'm pretty sure. Try changing that to the yellow or gray frame texture.

No, a concrete texture is fine too. Besides, it's his decision as long as it looks good.

Currently, we have some problems with the gameplay of the mod.

Because that, first, we have a C + + writer, but according Felix Griffin, Portal 2 can not be modified in its C + + code. All that we have is therefore a vscripter, and it does not permit us to do gameplay as we wanted.

What exactly are you attempting to do? Usually you can get around using scripts for most things.

We need to make a GLaDOS view, like the mod Overwatch.

So all you need to do is stick a camera facing downwards? I don't see why that needs scripts.

The camera is easy, the hard part is detecting what it's looking at.

Maybe just parent a big trigger to it that detects whatever testing element is it the fov, or use the sendificator laser script to teleport a trigger at the end of an invisible laser pointing from the view.
