I tried just copying the folder at models\cake in Portal 1 to the Portal 2 directory. It shows up in the Hammer model viewer, but just shows up as the big blue ERROR Does anyone have any ideas?

If you check the folders structure inside the zipped file you downloaded from LPFreaky, you'll notice that you need to put your model files into "portal 2/portal2/models/props/cake/", that should be your mistake.

Same goes for the texture files, place then inside "portal 2/portal2/materials/models/props/cake/"

It turned out I had the files outside of the props folder and it wasn't showing up, but it works now. Thanks!
