Nothing special, just my first attempt at mapping... so don't just go r0tfl 0mgsux!!!11!!1one!! because that would not be helpful. right now its incomplete, but i was looking for feedback on what i have now before i add the next 2 rooms. Right now, its extremely basic, and when i say extremely, i emphasize that, the puzzles are not difficult at all. Sorry, but i'm a bit of a n00b mapper. i left mapping for hl2dm about a year and a half ago, so i never did really learn input output things or crap like that, so help in that department would be great. I also have had trouble making indicators work, so i removed them from the map to make it look less bad. hopefully when i release it i'll have them working. The lighting hasn't been made correctly yet, i'm working on the actual gameplay and using this map as a test to find out what i need to do.

Sorry about it being short, but i want to know what i'm doing right/wrong and how to fix it...

The map is pretty much what you said it is. Easy and incomplete.

That being said, your construction appears to be very solid. There were only 2 "issues" that I ran into.

1. The dimensions of the room past the 1st emancipation grid are a bit off, which in turn causes the textures in that room to appear misaligned.

2. In the two button room, if you have the cube on one button then walk onto the other button and then jump straight up and land back on the same button, the little beep sound of the button glitches out and plays over and over very fast.

This is a great start and I look forward to playing future versions.

nah but seriously looks good man. of coarse needs LOTS of work. as its very short. but you're on the right track.

This is a really good map, needs to expanded though. Keep up the good work!

oh i totally forgot about portal for a while. i don't know if i'll start up mapping this again... i shouldn't have stopped because now i dont remember some of the mapping stuff i had to learn haha
